General queries:
When are the markets on?
The Fishermans Road Markets are on every Sunday from 6am-12pm in rain, hail or shine. So if its raining we will be here, please come visit us with your brolley!
Are dogs allowed?
Yes! We love pups at the markets. Please make sure they are well behaved, on a lead and that you clean up after them if they are to have an accident.
Where do I park?
We have a paid parking area located on the corner of Fishermans Road and David Low Way, this carpark is managed by the Buderim Scouts and North Shore Lions Club so the money goes straight back into the community. We have free parking across the road at the Maroochy Sports Ground.
Is there an ATM at the markets?
Yes! We have an ATM available if you forget your cash. Several of our stall holders also accept card.
What is access to the markets like for differently abled people?
The markets are on a flat piece of gravel land, however there can sometimes be pot holes or grassy areas. There are disability parking bays near the entrance to the markets which is the smoothest access to the market.

How do you book a stall?
If you would like to book a site please fill out the Stall holder application form here. Once this is complete and approved you will be sent an invoice and can attend the markets.
How much is a stall?
A standard 3x3m site is $30 for a 6am – 12pm Sunday trade at the Fishermans Road Markets. Please note all of our sites are unpowered.
What size is the site?
Standard site is 3x3m site. It is possible to book a double site, 6x3m if required through the booking officer.
When do I have to fill out the Stall holder application by?
All Stall holder applications must be complete by 5pm Thursday. Once approved an invoice will be sent through and must be paid by 12pm Friday to secure your position at the markets.

If I don't have access to the Internet, can I complete an application and pay fees using the phone?
YES. Simply phone the booking officer on 0429 109 149 and ask for assistance.
Do I need Insurance?
All Weekly Regular Stallholders and Approved Casual Stallholders must provide their own Public Liability Insurance with a minimum cover for 12 months to the sum of $10 Million. The policy must be endorsed “anywhere in Australia and/or Operating Markets”. A copy of the certificate of currency must be provided to the market management. This can occur by handing to the Sunday morning team leader from the Lions club, emailing to the booking officer or uploaded through the application form at time of joining the market and annual renewal.
These specific stalls must have their own public liability insurance.

- Commercial stallholders
What is a Commercial stallholder?
The club’s insurer specifies it can be based on one or more of the following criteria that can be substantiated in case of a legal dispute. The following could determine a stall holder as being “commercial” and hence require them to have their own Public Liability Insurance.
- Regularity of attendance at the market
- Reliance on the market as a significant source of income
- Having an ABN or trading as a registered company
- Operating at other markets
- Selling products that are new and/or commercially manufactured
- Providing professional services that require authentic qualifications.
Do I have to complete an application form each time I use the market?
No, once your details are in the system, use the email address bookings@fishermansroadmarket.com to request a site on future occasions.
Do I need a Gazebo?
It’s up to you, but it gets quite hot and will need to be weighted down as it gets quite windy.
Do Lions rent gazebos?
Unfortunately, no we do not rent gazebos.
What can I sell?
Anything you like! We welcome all crafts, fashion, knick knacks, jewellery and plants! If you are wanting to sell food or provide a health service you will need to provide certificates and licences as per the Stall holder application.
What time do I arrive on Market day?
Casuals need to line up on Fishermans Road by 4.30am – once approved you will be sent a Stallholder Kit which will detail this information.
How will I know where to go?
You will be met at the gate by a Lion Team Leader or Scout helper where you will be ticked off the list and escorted to your site.
Can I drive my car onsite to unpack?
Yes, one car can enter which you will need to unpack quickly, park it opposite at the Sports Car park and return to set up your stall.
Can I park my car onsite?
Some cars have bookings where cars can park onsite, but most must exit the Markets and park opposite in the Sports Car Park.
What time does the market finish?
Market closes at 12pm but the gates open at 12.15pm for cars to exit.
I wish to sell food – how do I book?
Book online click here. You will need to complete an application and provide some documents – Safe food handling, Food Licence and Insurance which then will go to the Market Committee for approval. You will be contacted by the booking officer.
